阿克塞尔•霍耐特（Axel Honneth，1949—），德国著名社会理论家，法兰克福学派第三代旗帜性人物，曾任柏林自由大学社会学研究所研究员、法兰克福大学哲学教授、哥伦比亚大学哲学系教授。代表作有《为承认而斗争》《权力的批判》《承认：一部欧洲观念史》等。霍耐特创造性地继承了法兰克福学派批判社会理论的传统，以社会哲学为研究重点，致力于将社会政治分析与哲学探索相结合。2016年6月，霍耐特教授被授予都柏林大学最高荣誉“尤利西斯奖章”，以表彰他对社会哲学和批判理论的贡献。
